Grow from Singapore to Asia!

The Asia Food Bowl™ is GROW’s regional accelerator. We’ve created this program to help early-stage, innovative agrifood startups to grow quicker and capture new markets across Asia. In 2024 with the support of Enterprise Singapore, the Asia Food Bowl targets Singapore-based startups to nurture and grow the local ecosystem.

Apply now to be part of a Singapore-based cohort with an appetite for scaling up your business. This is your chance to tap into GROW’s network of mentors and access our “recipe” to accelerate your startup. Let us challenge you to build bigger.

Why register?

Acquire new perspectives to refine your solution to conquer markets in the region

Sharpen your pitch narrative to resonate with investors and bring people along your vision

Connect with key local ecosystem players and build community around you

Two-phase programme

PHASE 1: Start-up Bootcamp (5 Days)

Open to all Singapore registered ventures. The more the merrier!

It is FREE to participate. Yes, you heard it! Think of it as us paying it forward – our small part in helping our local ecosystem.

What to expect? Supercharge your early-stage startup:

  • Learn tried and tested startup methodologies to provide clarity and structure to chart your growth
  • Discover what sets you apart from your competition and how to leverage your strengths to appeal to your target audience
  • Build or refine your go-to-market strategy by understanding yourself and the industry better
  • Step into the minds of investors, buyers and regulators through conversations with industry experts
  • Put your learnings to the test by crafting a compelling pitch to a panel of experts

Phase 2: Investment-Readiness Advisory (6 Months)

Select startups from Phase 1 may be invited to the next phase of acceleration. Here, we will get your startup investor-ready so that you have a solid plan to secure your fundraise and scale your business. Just a heads up, for successful investor introductions, there will be a 3.5% capital introduction fee.

What to expect?

  • 1:1 advisory with GROW to develop your fundraising strategy and execute it to secure investments
  • Office hours with GROW’s partner VC, AgFunder
  • Be matched with our network of mentors and investors specific to your needs
  • 1:1 office hours with experts on topics such as legal, finance and tax, intellectual property, marketing, team building, etc
  • Introductions to further connections where appropriate to help scale your business
  • Showcasing and networking opportunities to GROW’s network through events, social media and newsletter exposure.

Anticipated commitment

While we expect consistent participation to get the most out of your programme experience, we also realise that running a startup is a full time commitment.

In Phase 2, our programme sessions are several hours per week of formal activities which are designed to complement and fast-track the work you are doing to accelerate your business.

Who we are looking for

If you are a Singapore-registered, early-stage startup in the world of agri, food, fibre and aqua – we want to hear from you!

Do you have the next “big thing”? Apply if you have a new technology, business model innovation and even a novel process, product or service. You will need to have a prototype / minimum viable product at the very least, with  some customer validation. We will build on this to help you scale.
